Top Gear UK fans, tonight's episode...
« on: August 05, 2013, 10:56:40 PM »
If you're a fan of Top Gear UK, heck if you've never even watched it, and you missed the first airing of tonight's episode, run, do not walk, to your DVR and set it to record the re-air later tonight. It's a joyous celebration of complete automotive lunacy and magnificent machines. In the first half alone they have a Porsche and a Lambo that will have you jumping on the couch and cheering for the miracle that is internal combustion.

That is all.

Thanks for the heads up! It's waiting for me on the DVR as we speak!
Personally, I do not understand how a bunch of people demanding a bigger govt can call themselves anarchist.
I meet lots of folks like this, claim to be anarchist but really they're just liberals with pierced genitals. - gunsmith

I already have canned butter, buying more. Canned blueberries, some pancake making dry goods and the end of the world is gonna be delicious.  -French G

I think I enjoyed last night's episode more than any episode I've ever seen.

The segment on caravaning had me laughing hysterically more than once.

The segment on the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento was simply cinemagraphic fine art at its best.

The show they did a few weeks ago in Spain was also incredibly compelling.

Word of warning!

If you missed it, you'll see a rerun next week that is ONE HOUR in length.

The original airing is NINETY MINUTES.

The reruns are HEAVILY edited and every one I have seen, while good, has suffered badly from the reduction.

I just watched the highlights episode which was hosted by their producer.  His comments alone were worth watching!  =D

Was this the last episode of the season?
"so I ended up getting the above because I didn't want to make a whole production of sticking something between my knees and cranking. To me, the cranking on mine is pretty effortless, at least on the coarse setting. Maybe if someone has arthritis or something, it would be more difficult for them." - Ben

Not that I'm aware. They usually do a last show signoff and I don't recall one this episode.
