Tea Partiers are NOT anarchists.

I am.  And I prefer voluntaryist, thankyouverymuch.

It's a boogieman term.

Agreed.

My perception of "anarchist" was the leftist, no property rights, "the enemy of being is having" so lets blow stuff up variety, a la turn of the century Europe. I didn't know of the anarcho-cap variety until I learned more about libertarianism.

If my old perception is similar to most America, then it is a scare tactic.

I'm more familiar with the libertarian an-cap type.

The euroleft claptrap socialist type anarchists just seem like nuts to me.

Is it possible for an anarchist to take over Congress?  Perhaps a self-claimed anarchist but not a true anarchist.  Congress and anarchy don't go together.

Reid really hates that Constitutionalists have infected Congress.  He thought they were shed of that silly document.

Yeah, a true anarchist would never seek government office.

Yeah, a true anarchist would never seek government office.

Correct. He (or she) would just blow up government offices.

Reid's definition of "anarchists" is "People who don't vote the way I tell them to vote."

Correct. He (or she) would just blow up ignore government offices.

Fixed.

The number of an-cap "used to be libertarian" anarchists far dwarfs the number of Seattle G20 arsonist anarchists.

I'm an anarchist, if I was smarter though I would probably be libertarian.
Blow things up??
To dangerous, I'll watch from a safe distance and say oooh-wow though.
I like having fingers and hands to much to be making bombs.

edited to add: but you know what? I vote for Tea Party candidates when I can, as a Nevadan though I can assure you that the only way to get rid of Reid is a huge turnout and 100% vote for the other guy.

He lost the last election, but he stole it real well. The RNC/DNC are all old boy network here. Voters don't have much say.

Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".

Did you hear about the anarchist who tried to blow up a school bus?

He burnt his lips on the tail pipe.
