my kids school   ironically same school where a teacher and the former principal tried to say a kid who wrote an essay about how proud he was of his dad fighting terrorists could not use said essay since it might offend muslim students

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Not really a surprise when it sure as hell seems like the majority of graduating high school students cannot read beyond a basic elementary or middle school level.

And they don't get much better in college...

First, it's not reading that's dead, it's writing.  Too much text-talk, and not enough effort put into writing in a proper way.

Second, this hot sauce on my breakfast must be extra-hot.  Eyes are starting to water...
