Aye. First book was obviously a first book. I suspect the author sent time polishing it up. It had its awkward moments, but was well written and I suspect well edited. The second book dragged on, and I don't think it was as polished as the first book. The third book, Bracken found his stride and it shows. The book flows very well, and there's less awkward sections. He's a pretty good writer.
I'm pondering on buying his book Castigo Cay. I think the dude really needs to break free of his niche for a book or two. If I was his life mentor (which I'm obviously not), I'd tell him to write a book or two without his obvious ideology. It'd probably help him even with his ideological books.
