Holiday Gift Suggestions
« on: December 05, 2013, 07:25:15 PM »
My new wife's family does a $75-100 gift tradition where everyone buys a gift in that price range, wraps it, then numbered lots are drawn.  In order, you get to select a gift and unwrap it. Next person can either take your gift and let you choose again or choose an unwrapped present of their own and unwrap it.

What in the world should I get?

I'm from a gift card kinda family where the level of thought is being able to match a person to a store and being somewhat even on the gift card exchange.

A pile of Pmags !!!

High-end Cleaning Kit

Sets of .45ACP and 5.56 reloading dies

Lucky Gunner Gift Cards

Reloading Press Kit

IIRC, they are all pretty much anti-gun, right.  Might as well kick off the annual holiday festivities right from jump street.  =D   ;)

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

From you, given what we have learned about your extended family?  I'd say a gift certificate for $75 worth of legal consultation.  (And give thanks that the Canon of Ethics prevents you from being the one they can consult with.  Or even suggest some poor schmuck to go bother.)

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.
