I *own* a .45ACP - single-action and single-stack! - but tote 1) .380 Ruger LCP 2) BHP 9mm 3) .357 SP-101. OR the .45. When and where each is carried depends. No, no, no! Not *in* my Depends! I'm old but not *that* old. Since firearms are prohibited at work, it would have to be the LCP stuck in a coat pocket. The 'car' gun is the HP - an Israeli military black-painted abomination - ugly but reliable. Wearing a sweatshirt? The SP-101 goes OWB.

Of course, I could be a sissy. And wrong. Maybe. Possibly. I am married, so it's likely that I'm wrong.  =D

Have you tried the S&W 1006?  I used to put 180gr @ 1200fps through it all day with no problems.  Of course, good luck finding one these days.

I carry 45 lately, but have gone back and forth.  My Glock 21 with 13+1 rounds of 45 is a cool.  However, my XDm with 19+1 has great capacity while being a bit more compact.  Lots of other choices.  I need to try those Alien Gear holsters as they are a bit cheaper than Crossbreed.
