Actually I may have eaten crab last weekend when I was in Howth a small
fishermen village half an hour outside of Dublin. I ordered a mixed seafood plate and there was something which looked like the inside of a crab claw very white
with a dark tip. It didn't taste very strong and all those mussels, salmon, hering,
shrimps, gambas and what not came with different kinds of garlick sauce which took most of the taste away from what was on the plate. Still very good.
And Ireland is great. Very nice people. Very clean. I really loved it.
I couldn't communicate with the Irish because I couldn't make out what they were saying. In four days and three nights I managed to drink 15 pints of guinness the
true lord of beers and 9 whiskeys. That got me through the rain and the wind.
I have seen 16 drunk guys at Ryan's, red faced, blond redish hair in their fourties
singing Molly Malone, half of them drank pints of stout, half of them drank out of little green bottles, those were the Americans.
"Alive-a-live-oh,
Alive-a-live-oh",
Crying "Cockles and mussels, alive alive oh".
