R.I.P. Scout26
is that the r-2800?
Much nicer than the cell phone through the chain link fence pic I took this weekend of the B17 at KEFD.
The cell phone pics are probably nicer than the no pictures I took of the B17 "The Memphis Belle" which has been flying in and out of the regional airport (U42) by our house here today. It overflew pretty low a few times while we were out with the kids in the back yard this afternoon, didn't even occur to me to grab the camera.
Holy hell. It's like giving a loaded gun to a chimpanzee...
the last thing you need is rabies. You're already angry enough as it is.OTOH, there wouldn't be a tweeker left in Georgia...
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! AND THROW SOME STEAK ON THE GRILL!
Thats not the real Belle thats the Movie scheme one
Today I stopped at a museum in Oregon that has the Spruce Goose and an SR-71 on display. All the pictures I took are absolutely brilliant, I just need to get them developed.
was that also use in the dc-3?
The T-28 was about the onliest radial single-engine I recall that had a tricycle gear. The rest, iirc, are tail draggers.
Yak-52
Nanchang CJ-6. Chinese primary trainer. The CJ-5 is a copy of the Yak 18. The Yak is a tail dragger, the Chinese copies aren't. A lot of the CJ5/6 are showing up at airshows. We had 3 or 4 of them here this last weekend. Now you know of 2+.bob
