Nurses eat their own young for fun, just think what we can do to first year residents who come in thinking they know everything. We would get R1s (first year residents) in ICU, if they allowed us, the nurses could teach them quite a bit, if they were full of themselves they usually did very badly until someone hit them with the clue bat. I do not miss residents.
