It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Saw that a few minutes ago, one of the few actors my wife actually likes. Least on FoxNews they were more or less saying without saying it was suicide. Man had his demons for a long time between alcohol and depression, hope his rest is a peaceful one.

Dammit. I grew up watching him. I remember seeing him play Mork on Happy Days when I was a kid, then on Mork & Mindy. Loved his standup, and he made several really good movies.

My condolences to his loved ones.

Too young for Mork.  Some good movies, not recently.  I do recall seeing a standup routine of his.  It wasn't routine. Seems he would just show up and start talking about stuff and it was funny.  No pre planned jokes.

Sad.  Dude had wild talent, million$, fame, and the adoration of countless fans. 

But without his (mental) health, it was all worth nothing.

I took my daughter out to eat and the restaurant had CNN on.  45minutes nonstop picking at RW's corpse. 
1. I am not missing anything by not having cable.
2. Enough, already.  Stop dancing in the man's blood for ratings for a few minutes each hour.

People who knew him are saying (on Fox News) he was "on" all the time.  Some comedians come in and they go on stage, then they "switch on their act."   When through, they go back.
Robin Williams they say was going from the start.  People say he truly enjoyed entertaining people and making them laugh.   
This is sad.   I hope he's happier where is is now than where he was ...... :'(

For those who don't know, Williams learned a lot from Jonathan Winters. Williams delivery and improvisational style often mimicked Winters. Both were alcoholics, and both had issues with depression. Winters was also bipolar, and heard voices in his head, which he sometimes incorporated into his routines.

Winters was lucky enough to live to 87, though.

Indeed. Williams was proof of my notion that comedians make better dramatic actors than the reverse.
