Dad turned down something like six honorary degrees offered in recognition of his work.  Said he already had a lab full of PhDs who couldn't rinse glassware without supervision, let alone do actual work.  He said if some university or professional association wanted to "honor" him they should look up the word "honorarium" in the dictionary and then make sure it had enough zeroes.

Although never offered one by Hahvahd, if they had I'm pretty sure he would not have told them where to put it but firmly placed it there himself.

"Microaggression" did not exist in his day, but "Whiney stupid-azzed [female part] would have been but the beginning of his response to the creature in question.

Lots of Palestinians work at the Soda Stream factory.  They're pissed at the boycotts of the company from supposedly pro-Palestinian westerners.  It's one of the few companies really providing income opportunities for them.

The people to get more ticked off at are not the students, but the teachers and administrators who teach and validate that idiocy.

As offensive and debilitating as micro aggressions are, even worse are the underhanded passive-micro aggressions.  They are almost everywhere, and very hurtful to the sensitive side of the well meaning majority that don't care about imperceptible insults.  When people use such disguised insults as "white cheddar cheese" and "madman"  it strikes directly at the heart of innocent white men everywhere.  I'm going to go cry now.

I think I was micro-agressed when I read an article in the local liberal rag the other day. I can't remember what the article was about, but I remember the phrase, "Women, minorities, and youth are always negatively affected..."

That seems to be an attack on old white guys. Heck, maybe it's even macro-aggression.

Ben sorry you cannot be a micro-aggressee as you are a non-liberal, older, white male.  Since you fall into the above categories you will always be a micro-aggressor.
