Walker has already come out in support of call-it-anything-but-amnesty. He supported the Rubio-Schumer bill a few years back and wants to increase legal immigration.
Anyone who will sell out the citizens like that won't get my vote.
Scott Walker already produced enough fodder for the PAC attack ads to bury him.
With the $300M proposed cut to the UW system and $200M Investment in a public sports area, he will be sunk. Doesn't matter if you agree with him in those decisions, it such an easy target for the pro education educrat group.
Maybe so. Walker is not my boy, but I think his history of beating bureaucritters like a drum indicates he can beat educrat PACs.
If Walker does become a front runner in the GOP cPOTUS race, more attention will be paid to
how he became a contender. The more that story gets out, the less folk will care what educrat PACs say about him. The greater the focus on educrats at public universities and gov't primary & secondary schools, the less sympathetic folk are the to educrat PACs. Little things like, "Many universities now have more administrators than they do instructors," tend to pour ice water over lots of those reflexively pro education spending. Toss on things like the inflation rate of college tuition and sympathy quickly dries up.
Fat and sloppy bureaucrats & educrats thrive in the darkness where most folk can not see. Expose them to sunlight and many are repulsed by the pasty bloated carcasses eating greedily and sloppily at the trough of taxpayers' dollars.
