There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Bacon is the candy bar of meats!

Only the dead have seen the end of war!

I would pay good money to see Putin pulled over by Polish police - and double if he's pulled over by any branch of the German Polizi.

Now that the former German People's Worker Republic (or whatever it was) has reunified with the rest of the country I'd also pay to see their reaction to a bunch of Russian motorcycle thugs roaring down the highway with flags unfurled and held aloft.  (I'm thinkinng of buying shares in the cobblestone concession I'm sure will be formed.)

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

I like the fact that in the picture Putin is riding a trike.

I find it hilarious that "high govt. officials" are paying so much attention to this. Aren't there more important life and death things going on in the world?

Bread and circuses.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

When your country (geographical moreso than geopolitical) has a history of being invaded by Ivan and his extended family, you tend to "pay attention" to any large group of them that say they just want to "ride through" and especially if they say their objective is, like last time, your capitol.  Then there is the urging of the populace, whose grandparents still tell stories around the campfire of what the Ruskies did the last time they were in town, to "pay attention".

stay safe.

^^^ Snort.  I am reminded of the old joke:

You are lost in the woods and your camp is East of your location.  How do you find East?  Put a rifle in the hands of a German, and he will automatically start marching East.

They should be doing it on Urals instead of Hondas and Harleys.
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.
