Seymour Hersh and the Bin Laden story

I will be interested to see in the years to come, if Mr. Hersh is proved correct.  He does have quite a reputation as an investigational journalist.  If he is accurate, you would expect to see the protests about his work as the government tries to protect sources and methods.

SH has a ~50% accuracy rate.  About half the time his stories blow up.  Half the time he nails it.  Makes it difficult to believe him without other sources.

I read about most of this until I ran out of time last night.  Might be real.  SH does make some rookie errors describing things and/or repeating what his sources say.  I would say that SH seems a mite credulous regarding middle eastern sources.

I'm shocked, shocked! that Pakistan had ties to OBL and politics may have been involved.

Hersh has major problems with credibility and honesty.  Well, for that matter, so does barack hussein.  I call it a draw.

The photo of him at his desk really cracks me up.

How old is that computer behind him?

Prolly a stock photo. The book was published in '98. The tape recorder may also be a clue, though I suppose old newsmen might still use them today.
