That's my favorite episode of TTZ.  It still makes me cringe every time I watch it.

Good luck, Rev.  Modding isn't nearly as fun as most think it is....

Thank ye for the kind words. I mostly plan to stick to the tech side, but obviously snag any spam or otherwise help out where/when ever necessary.

Isn't he, like, fer sure dude, busy writing a book or two about an apocalypse, like, or something like that?  Isn't he too busy to be a mod or admin?

Actually, I am still writing those. It's going slowly because I'm actually researching/learning/practicing various stuff before it goes in the book. Stuff like making paper, barometric sensors and proximity fuses, etching circuit boards at home, etc. It is actually in progress.

I'll be nice to Rev when we all get knives forged from the blood of hippies.

I am disappointed.

A certain pagan talked me out of "made out of blood" and more into "quenched in blood", for logistical concerns alone.

That's a couple revisions back. It's a lot more cleaned up, with leather wrapping for the grip, and working on leather scabbard. We'll be prototyping quenched in both hippy blood and veteran blood for metallurgical research.

I've been modding for Larry's forum for a couple years. It's not that bad, but I'm a light touch kind of mod.

Just make it so he can't get to the web interface, and has to ssh into the server to do anything...and set his shell to teco.

One trick I've found helpful for a better finish on the blade is to keep a separate hammer that's only used for finishing, dress and polish the face as often as it needs it, and use an apron you can wipe the hammer face on after every couple of strikes.

Crap.
I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

Yea, but did you name a snake after him?

Nope. So far you're the only one who's had that privilege.  =)

Would it make me a super-suck up to only name my critters after mods from now on?

Hmmmm, I don't know of any animal capable of autoclaving entire planets.

There was that Doomsday Machine in Star Trek: TOS that destroyed, then consumed, entire plants, but that just doesn't seem like it truly captures the good Rev....
