The next House Minority Leader
« on: November 10, 2006, 04:14:04 AM »
So, who should the Republicans choose to be the House Minority leader?  I think it's kind of like when a sports team does really bad one season and the coach gets the boot.  HastertBoehner has to go.  Now.  I don't know who the new leader should be but I think he/she should be younger with a libertarian streak.  Do we have any of those in Congress?

It just hit me, as I was brushing my teeth before I go to work, that I wrote Hastert and not Boehner.  Hastert being the ex-Speaker and Boehner being the ex-majority leader.  I can't believe nobody else corrected me.  You guys must be slipping.
Oh, Lord, please let me be as sanctimonious and self-righteous as those around me, so that I may fit in.

I couldn't remember his name but that was the guy I was thinking of when I posted this question.  I read this piece at Reason a few days ago.

It was fairly interesting.

I'll vote for Tancredo.
