Well, as Doritos is a product of Frito-Lay, which is, in turn, a subsidiary of Pepsi who contracts with a company that uses cells derived from aborted fetal tissue to produce and test new flavorings, I am already boycotting them.

But, yes, if I weren't already, I'd be doing so as they are clearing signalling their side in the culture war.

I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. Um, wait.

[processing the idea of fetal issue being used in that way]

Well, I don't drink a great deal of Pepsi, though it is delicious. But I'm wondering how many other products I would have to boycott. And which other companies are doing the same thing.

The company is Senomyx and they use cells derived from the kidneys of an aborted baby. (Snopes will point out the baby was aborted in 1973, but that really doesn't make it better that it's been going on for 40+ years.)

Just to let you know, I read on the Internet that all gun powder is manufactured with aborted human baby parts.

That's snopes' take on it. If it's on the internet Snopes, it has to be true.

Buy them and eat them, don't buy them and don't eat them.  It is somewhat of a free country.  Too many other things that are more important to get worked up over than a bunch of rainbow colored corn chips.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Even worse; when they incinerate aborted fetuses, the water driven off in the process goes into the atmosphere and becomes rain, soaks down into aquifers, etc.  Your city is selling you dead baby water.

I'm confused by this. So is there little bits of cloned cells in the product to give a certain taste, or were the cloned cells simply used in the original development? ???

As I recall, the cells are used for testing to make sure they have created the desired flavor.

No. There's no cloned cells in the product.

I suspect that the cloned cells are used ONLY for reactivity testing with new products, to determine things like toxicity...

The final product is not the test product, and the final product contains none of the various test media used in development.

This is simply another "OMFRIGGINGGODTHISISHORRIBLE! AREYOUNOTOUTRAGED? LETUSTELLYOUHOWOUTRAGEDYOUSHOULDBE!!!" bullshit shock journalism that bends, or breaks, the truth where ever it's deemed necessary to serve the (group's that doesn't like whatever is being targeted) version of the greater good.

From reading some of the links, the cloned cells are used in the testing equipment that is used to test whether or not the artificial flavor has the chemical "taste" properties they are looking for. (You'd think they'd use cloned taste buds for that, not kidney cells but whatever).  So some of the equipment in the lab contracted by Pepsico has cloned cells in them, and that equipment may have been used to test dome of the chemicals that became artificial flavors for Pepsico.
