The game between Netherlands and Germany was billed as "an act of defiance" against the Paris bombings.

By no means am I criticizing the decisions to cancel the game and evacuate the stadium.  But sometimes it pays not to tell the bully you are going to thumb your nose at him until after you have done so.

Right now terrorism is winning - all they need to do is start a rumor that they are going to do something.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

They only have to get it right once, we "the good guys" have to be right 100% of the time.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

I was trying to find a link.  I heard a sound clip on the radio this morning.  They were trying to do a "moment of silence" at a soccer match and a bunch of Muslims (or someone) started making noise and chanting.

If all the peace loveing, moderate Muslims don't get a handle on their extremist and extremist sympathetic  brethren they run the risk of being painted with the same broad, bloody brush as the extremists.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Don't let the left take control of the language....
The 'radical' and 'extremist' muslims are the ones who look at their Christian, Jewish, or atheist neighbors and decide they are alright and don't need their heads lopped off per instructions of their military-political guide book.

There's actually some truth in that - I worked with a guy from Turkey for a number of years; he's a Moslem, but his wife and daughters don't wear burkas (or even head scarves) and are allowed to drive, handle money, and go out and about without a male relative chaperone; he's clean shaven with no beard and didn't set up a prayer rug in the middle of the lab several times a day to pray towards Mecca. In fact, the only real way you could tell he was a Moslem is that he wouldn't eat a sausage pizza because of the pork - but other meat was OK, even if it was non-hallal. (Almost sounds Jewish, eh?  ;)  )

Many/most of the screaming beards consider Turks like him to be bad Moslems - apostates or heretics.
