Homeboy just wanted some tacos...

Taco restaurant gets broken into; uses security cam footage to make a commercial. Hilarity ensues:

No doubt.

Tacos look pretty bad.

That place is 5,340 feet from my front door as the crow staggers. Only 3,790 feet if he gets his ass up offa the sidewalk and flies.  I drive by it occasionally, but I've never gone in.  After seeing that commercial, I'll make it a point to visit them.

They don't keep any cash in the registers, do they?

I used to keep $50 in the register with the drawer open overnight.  Just so they could grab that and run.  Avoided having the whole register broken open or run off with to open later.

Never had the theory tested, though.

That theory was handed down to me by an experienced retail merchant.

Thats pretty funny stuff.
I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

When I worked fast food, all the cash from the registers were put in the safe after closing. So either they got nothing, or if the restaurant owners were doing something similar to what 230RN suggested then they got a booby prize and not much else besides a heap of internet mockery and a probable future trip to the pokey.
