Crazy Eyed Missouri Professor Charged with Assault

Posting from the schadenfreude and karmic side.

The wild-eyed U of M professor who pushed that reporter during the student protests there a while back is now being charged with assault. Kind of a good "what goes around" moment from my perspective. This is the person who screamed for criminal prosecution for people who didn't act correctly (to her worldview). Now she's going to experience the same legal consequences that she would apply to others who have not even done anything illegal.

Sadly, the experience probably won't open her eyes, but more likely narrow her blinders.

Is the charge a felony or a misdemeanor?

In any case, I really do hope she is convicted for her criminal actions and acquires a criminal record as a violent offender . . .  >:D

Class A misdemeanor.  Don't know Missouri law, but here in Ohio, cases like this routinely get plead out to a reduced charge, pay a fine and court costs, go away.  We can only hope she wants her day in court, refuses a plea bargain, and takes it to trial.  Pissed off judges like to give jail time.

Missouri .gov was going to cut the funding of the UofM, not just the $402k(!!!!!!) of her and two other profs (dept chair and one other in her CoC), but a metric buttload of cash.
