$350-$700 for most reproduction muskets these days.

Speaking of which, does anyone know anyone that makes muskets or whatnot? I'm in need of a Howdah pistol, but would prefer over/under rather than the ubiquitous side by side. I might end up just having to make my own.  =(

Get a stamp and cut down a Ruger Red Label or something.


Edit. Wait, what? Need a howdah? Want, sure that's easy, but what's the backstory on "need?"

I've long wanted about an 8" bbl O/U 12ga, make one heck of a CC piece.
