. . .  All too often these days, a very small group of people will make noise and get some press attention.  . . .
As a society, we expend way, WAY too much money and attention catering to the feelings of the lunatic fringe.
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

Actual quote from Emory protest representatives:

Quote
Students woke up Monday morning to find messages written in chalk all over campus, in support of Donald Trump. That afternoon, a group of 40 to 50 students protested. According to the student newspaper, the Emory Wheel, they shouted in the quad, “You are not listening! Come speak to us, we are in pain!” and then students moved into the administration building calling out, “It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love each other and support each other. We have nothing to lose but our chains.”

Nope, there are enough wussificated X'rs that will side with the superwussificated millennials that any non-wussificated pushback will probably be a prosecutable offense.

Correct. SJWs and other oxygen thieves have wormed their ways deep into the corporate and government worlds and created 'indispensable' positions for themselves- they might be outnumbered, but they hold too many cards- short of going caveman on them, there isn't a whole lot that can be done about them inside the law.

That about sums it up.

I have a deep abiding contempt for SJWs.  That contempt borders on a frothing, growling, teeth gnashing contempt.  A contempt that demands rending of garments and sackcloth and ashes.  a contempt that fires a desire to drench them in tar and coat them with the feathers of the chickens they run with and tie them to a rail and leave them in the city square to be mocked and spat upon.

Otherwise I don't mind them at all.

Some kids by me used to talk great about unions fighting for individuals against the evil corporations, singing the praises of socialist ideals...right up until they got jobs bagging at the local grocer, which is a union shop.  Then they start complaining about their money being taken, and them getting nothing in return.

Nothing like a little 'sperience to add to reality.
