After watching that trailer, I think the new bad guy is 'walking dead' now.  He just doesn't know it.

Yeah, given how they've used the graphic novels as a general guide and deviated pretty far, I can see them having Rick take him out on the show.

Rick has wanted off the show in real life due to the fact he has young kids in the UK.
He never thought the show was going to last.
