Kansas questions
« on: December 08, 2006, 09:18:55 AM »
There is a remote possibility that I might find a job in Kansas.  So, what can you tell me about the place.
It will be near Wichita.
What kind of hunting is available there?

Never ask a man where he is from. If he is from Texas he will tell you. If he isn't there's no need to embarass him.

Wichita is the largest city in Kansas, which is much akin to being the best snowboarder in Jamaica.

Hunting is plains oriented with relatively small deer -- in comparo to MN, for example -- and folks in the boonies don't much mind hunting rifles under bench seats on old trucks.

That's about all I've got.  Smiley

You'll not need the mountaineering gear.

Don't be frightened by the giant metal grasshoppers alongside the freeway.  They're actually oil-pumps.
Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God?
