Palmetto State Armory turning over a new leaf on shipping?
« on: October 06, 2016, 09:01:48 PM »
Bought a PSA 10.5" upper for a pistol build.

Surprise #1 - Bought the upper and BCG on Sunday evening.  Monday afternoon I had a second email telling me the upper had been shipped.  I laughed this off - having bought from PSA multiple times before.

Surprise #2 - the upper and BCG were delivered on Thursday afternoon.

Is this a one time, all the planets aligned, coincidence? Or has PSA been working on getting orders out quicker?

Back in August I bought some Speer 223 ammo and magazines.  Took about 2 weeks to ship and was sent ground so it took a week.  So based on my experience, no change.

I had an order a while back show up in 3 days, then my last order took 2 weeks. I bet they ship when the pallet of parts are sold and it's convenient for them instead of FIFO, and it's just luck.
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.

I ordered some ammo on one of their daily deals on Tuesday morning.  Shipped out the same day and It arrived at my house Thursday.

I have done business with PSA for years.  I know some folks say they have had issues, but I don't recall any problems with them, other then they are sometimes out of stock on ammo I wanted to buy.
