http://www.bullyadapter.com/mag-r.htmlI have a Hornady progressive press (LnL AP) that I bought with high volume .223 reloading in mind (possibly pistol in the future as well), but the one shortcoming I ran into is that the position on the press where you set the bullet in the case is in a bit of an awkward spot an hand feeding really slows things down. Hornady has a an automatic bullet feeder system which costs around $400-450 for .223 only.
I spent a lot of time searching the net looking for other solutions but there really weren't any for rifle bullets.... I found a lot of posts on Arfcom about things people were rigging up to keep pistol bullet feeder dies fed- namely pieces of plastic tubing, which Hornady answered with their own metal tubes to feed their dies.
http://www.hornady.com/store/Lock-N-Load-9mm-Bullet-Tube/The next step in this open source evolution was adapting Lee bullet feeder tubes to the Hornady pistol feeder dies
https://www.amazon.com/Lee-Precision-Multi-Tube-Feeder/dp/B000KKEP3I http://www.bullyadapter.com/adapter-1.html finding this last link led to the rifle bullet feeder system (above)- I actually missed it the first time I visited the site.
I ordered the '.20' Mag-R and Mr. Bullet Feeder die on friday, which it came in the mail today (very prompt service!) I couldn't wait to try it out- spent 5 minutes loading the tubes (held 153 55gr FMJs + 4 more in the die), and tested it out. Works perfect, simple to adjust, drops 1 bullet every single time.
My current setup is Resize-->prime/charging die---->bullet feeder-->seater----> Lee FCD
If you are running a progressive and don't already have a bullet feed system, I highly recommend this gizmo.
