Now they don't want the Trump administration to have access to the California database of gang members ... because there might be some names on it that shouldn't be.

Why aren't they protesting the federal "no fly" list? All the same objections apply to that, times ten.

So what's the point of the list? What were they doing with it, if their failure to "extremely vet" the names was apparently not a problem before? Is it because they're worried that, for the first time, someone might do something with their list of criminals? Or is it OK if someone who isn't Trump treats an innocent person like a criminal, due to a moderatly-vetted list?

Let me get this straight...

The Do-Gooders are "concerned" that a .gov "bad guy list" isn't accurate, because LE can put anyone on it, courts aren't doing their jobs in reporting said bad guys, and the parents of juveniles may or may not have been told that little Juan's gangbanging got him put on a list of....

Criminal Illegal Immigrants.

And because of this, there may be just some regular, plain ol' Illegal Immigrants who may be deported once Trump gets his hands on this list.

They REALLY are trying to do everything they can to help Trump be endeared by all the deplorables in fly-over country.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that, by definition, any illegal immigrant alien IS a criminal. So any illegal alien who makes this list would seem to be a criminal's criminal.

So everyone who has an arrest warrant for unpaid traffic/parking tickets or some similar "minor" crime should have those penalties erased and LEO's should not bother them.  Those same jurisdictions are going after people for "minor" crimes and civil penalties.
