Is Politico left-leaning, right-leaning, or objective? Interesting story today, courtesy of a Drudge link:

Quote
Facts may be dead, but here's one I'll take with me, and it's a truth as rock-solid as those Facebook feeds are not: elections, in America or elsewhere, still have consequences.

IMHO, if facts are dead, it's the mainstream media that killed them. The journalist's mantra used to be "Who, what, where, when, and why." In other words ... report the facts. That fundamental tenet of journalism has long been supplanted by agenda-driven, mostly socialist-oriented reporting that seems to have scant respect for truth and facts.

I have news for Ms. Glasser: Facts are not dead. The reason we the people don't pay any attention to you "journalists" any more is that you stopped dealing in facts. Look in the mirror, Lady.

Facts are only dead in the mainstream leftwing fake news.

Plenty of places to get facts.
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

Facts aren't dead or alive. Facts are facts. Facts are what is.

Abraham Lincoln was fond of asking, “If you call a dog’s tail a leg, how many legs does a dog have?” “Five,” his audience would invariably answer. “No,” he would politely respond,” the correct answer is four. Calling a tail a leg does not make it a leg.” That's pretty much what we're dealing with here. Whatever the situation, there are certain facts that attach to that situation. The assignment of journalists used to be to report those facts. The assignment of the editorial writer was to offer an opinion regarding those facts.

The media today want to print stories about 5-legged dogs, and they get all upset when someone says, "No, it's still a dog and it doesn't have five legs."
