Evidently, some folks (mostly on the left) took note that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are Trump supporters and were actively rooting against the Patriots for that reason:

Personally, I would prefer that sports be devoid of political subtext. But it is amusing how the Trump-haters keep losing.
