Or, on what tangents do most of your threads take off?
For me, I must have started dozens of threads about music/instruments or threads that have been started by me that worked their way around to music.
I guess you guys know what I like.

Given that I have started all of three topics here, I don't think I have an adequate sample size. Over on THR, and TFL, it's mostly specific technical questions, IIRC.

Just usually to start a conversation or ask a question/opinion about something. I usually reserve deep political, religious, or philisophical (sp?) topics for in-person.

I usually just jack other people's threads.
I can divert any topic to anarchy.
Like, on this one, I would ask: "Are the lyrics and melody to a song really property?"

Well, APS is already pretty close to Anarchy as it is, since we ARE mostly self moderated here. Perhaps the word you seek to use is "chaos".
I start thread on topics all over the map. Music choices, general venting, food stuffs, how to get past a nasty mortar emplacement in a game....

If you are the divert
ee
, would that make your thread conform to "Chaos Theory", or would the divert
or
now be considered "Captain Chaos?"

Could be, so long as one avoids flying shuriken.

I only start threads on how-to questions.
Any other time I just add my share of gasoline to whatever fire happens to be burning.

I'm all over the place. Right now, my current single-minded obsession is amateur radio (again). Now that Morse has been dropped, I'm probably going to upgrade to General sooner than I anticipated.
I try to stay away from politics though. It does nothing but depress/anger me and arguing politics/religion/beer over the Internet is a futile exercise.

Argue over beer. The only arguement I ever had was never enough. Of course now I can have all I want for free. It just happens to me non-alcholic.
