Quick Mad Max question...
« on: January 05, 2018, 01:08:37 PM »
Were there any tracked vehicles in any of the original movies?

I'm hoping your memories work as I don't want to have to go through the movies to find out.

Definitely not in Mad Max or Road Warrior. They didn't have that kind of budget. Don't remember if Beyond Thunderdome did.
Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

According to http://www.madmaxmovies.com/cars/madmax/ it was all wheeled vehicles.

Trying to figure out what kind of vehicle to rent for a pending trip to LA, Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, or Washington, DC?
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

All right, thanks. I didn't think so. But then maybe there was one in a wide shot in the background or something.

Gyro-copter? Yes!

Tracked vehicle? No!

It's all fun and games until you throw a track....especially at speed.... :O :O :O :O
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.
