Sucks for you Brad.  Here's the view from atop NCAR today.

I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.

Bah'stds

In the last 5 hours or so, I got 3 inches of snow here.....

This is Portland.  It hardly EVER snows...

The city is in a panic.  Literally.

It's actually kinda funny.   I've had my radio scanner on listening to my coworkers responding to all the idiots out there...

Time to go make more hot chocolate......    Smiley

I went through Portland about 3 years ago after a snow/ice storm. Paralyzed the city. I don't guess they learned any lessons from the last one!

And here I am in Montana, a litle widy and cold, but nothing out of the ordinary. No snow in the last 4-5 days. Actually pretty nice weather for having a wind chill about 10-20 below.

It was almost tropical today, sun was shining and the temp hit the 20s.
Now if we could just get some more snow in the mountains to cover the rocks so I dont bang up my snowboard.

BobR, what part of MT are you in? I'm in Bozeman.

We had sunshine all day today, after finally getting snow over the weekend like we're supposed to have.

I am in the part of Montana your mother told you to avoid. The place where you don't stop, the place where you make sure you have enough gas to get through. The place where we consider 60 mile an hour winds a breeze. The place where we get at least 1 bear mauling into the ER every summer.

I am in Browning, one of the few non-indians living and working here. At least for a while longer, I got so pissed this weekend I sent resumes out to about 5 other places today. At least working for the government gives me the opportunity to go different places on the taxpayers dime.
