And Trump accepts. Be interesting if something came of it. My suggestion, leak the trump card. You keep building nukes and we give the Japs nukes whenever they ask for them. I bet China would solve the problem real quick then.

Here's my thoughts on it:

90% likelihood that Short Round thinks he's smarter than Trump and is going to "get those Imperialist Devils to leave the Great North Korea alone!"
   - High likelihood that when Short Round doesn't get what he wants, he throws a tantrum and further destabilizes the region.
9% likelihood that Short Round is just doing this as a publicity stunt "See, I reached out to the Imperialist Devils and they wouldn't budge!  It's their fault!'
1% likelihood that Short Round is genuinely wanting to talk and try to change and is willing to give up on their nuke program.

Also, when meeting have our serious underlings tell Kim's underlings that there is a fully stocked tropical island, piles of cash, and anything else they want. All that has to happen is that the family line has a few accidents.

Who knows what the Kim Jong Un actually wants?  That is the question.

I also assume there were US and South Korean representatives talking to the sister that attended the Olympics.  Whatever will happen at this meeting has likely already been decided.  Maybe they will just do a formal end to the war between North and South.
