Best free spreadsheet program
«

I need to do a bunch of spreadsheets up to catch up my taxes. I have an older version of office on my home computer but don't have anything on my shop laptop. I'm at the shop more these days getting stuff ready to sell so need something on the laptop I can use to get some paperwork done while taking breaks.
It's a win10 machine but have plenty of room to install Linux beside it if needed.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

Another vote for Libre Office Calc.

OpenOffice is another open source office suite. It's the original open source suite, and Libre Office is a fork from that project.

I used openoffice for a bit, ended up switching to Libre, it's more developed at this point.
Google docs can't do as much yet.
And it does install on windows 10 just fine, so no need for dual boot.

Thanks just downloaded Libre.
I used to run Openoffice on all my linux machines but just don't play with systems like I used too.

Another vote for both Libre Office and Google Docs. Libre Office is good if you are going to be doing a lot of spreadsheets on one computer or opening previously created spreadsheets. Google Docs is great if you need something quick with no installation necessary. It's also super handy if you need to do any collaboration.

Late to the game, but plus whatever number we're up to for Libre Office. I'll agree about Google if you're doing collaboration. We were just getting into Google govt services before I retired, and it was pretty handy. For personal use though, I would just as soon keep stuff on my local system and Google's nose out of my beeswax.
Also, I keep reading the title as "breast free".
