I think the winning strategy for the Democratic Party is to drive hard left and push for open borders and repeal of the 2nd Amendment.
I'm divided. Twenty years ago I'd say yea the dems should absolutly do that.Today the stupid has achieved such ascendancy in society doing that might wind up with a true communist government that isn't even scared to label itself COMMUNIST.
And the right to skip the whole bathroom debate, identify as a pigeon and crap on strangers' cars out in the open.
Hillary Clinton apparently just doubled down on this stuff in her latest faux pas on her "I should have won" tour. Even with the numbers staring them in the face, they still try to market themselves to pajama boy.
it's easier to be the loser. You can raise funds on promises while never actually having to accomplish anything.
Their analysis doesn't matter a whit. All signs point to the Dems taking both houses of congress in the mid-terms. Serves The Stupid Party right for crapping on their base.(I'd sure love to have crow for breakfast the morning after the election, but I don't believe that will happen.)
Are these the same pollsters that told us hillary was gonna win in an historic landslide?Trump's approval ratings are showing at 51% (again with the polls ) but I'll wait a bit before I right off the stupid party. While their signature strategic move is to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, it ain't over till it's over.
I get it that traditionally the opposing party to whoever holds the presidency usually do well at this point, but I think excessive pessimism isn't necessary.
