Anybody know what percentage the human contribution to the overall greenhouse gas load on the planet happens to be? As compared to the total contribution from natural sources? There ought to be some long-lived rich bogs out there.

Correlation is not causation.
I think the relationship is interesting. Policies that drive down our emission of CO2 may have some unintended consequences.
