Possibly stupid question, but is it the same trigger mechanism design as on the hammerless LCR?

Nice! I’ve been wanting a hiking gun but the thought of lugging the weight around has discouraged me.

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

I am beginning to wonder if I will ever find one of these before I die.  I keep an eye out on Armslist and GunBroker, and they so rarely come up.

OK, now that's interesting.

SRP over $800.  Ouch!

(Just bought the 3" barrel, J-frame size 6 shot Taurus 856.  The one with the night sight.  Still in IL gun purgatory.  I have plans for this.)

S&W 351PD. I have a 325PD that is a wonderful hiking gun but the .45ACP is not known for being lightweight ammunition.

Google tells me the 351PD is a .22MAG.  I wouldn't have thought that would be a replacement for whatever they wanted a .357 for.

^^^As the OP, my outdoor recreation gun is a 2.25" stainless SP-101 loaded up with .357 158 grain JSP.  I don't really need a 3" .357 LCRx, but I want one.
