Well, I'll be darned:

I was about to set off a broadside of my bullshit cannons, but it's been reported several times in several sources.

Search term:  <can bees live in someone's eye?>

I heard about that yesterday.  I have never heard of sweat bees.  On the show I was watching someone from up North said they had them up there (just not that small).

I am surprised she didn't try to take out her contact lenses.

I was keenly aware of them in Illinois, growing up. Running barefoot in the grass and step on one you don't see (because they're so small).... Who could guess something so small could cause so much pain?
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

They were one of the least painful of bee stings to me.  Even on bare feet.

Evidently you've never had kidney stones.
