From other pictures I saw, it looked like 90% of them were revolvers and the typical "hunting rifles and shotguns" that the antis say they don't want to ban. Looked like quite a few milsurps of the bolt action variety. It'll be interesting to watch for any "weapons of war" talk.

Really interested on the almost non existent back story on this- was it a "red flag" seizure? Or what? It does not look like any kind of criminal activity, unless it is a stolen collection(s) .17 target rifles, contenders, pythons etc-not arms one associates with the criminal class.
I wonder if there was any real reason other than "there are a lot of guns". I mean, they will make up a bunch of charges after they look at everything- but did they have a good reason for the raid?

They won’t say beyond hinting at “illegal sales”...yet haven’t charged anyone and always repeat
the phrase “no one was in danger” on the news stories.

Sounds like theft to me

Sounds like "I don't like that guy because/and he has too many guns, so I'll call the police" to me.

Yup. He's currently out on bond with no charges filed. It appears he's also an FFL, though I didn't see what kind. I wouldn't be surprised if they go the "Kavanaugh yearbook" route and find some woman from 30 years ago to accuse him of domestic abuse so they can use the red flag law.

If he was indeed selling guns illegally to criminals, then he should face the range of standard punishments. This just looks like "too many guns" optics to me though.

I was trying to find a link, but wasn't there a gun owner who had his expensive collection confiscated and destroyed.  I believe he successfully sued under RICO statutes and won.

Hard to really tell, but it looks like a mostly C&R collection to me.

I'm hoping he's clean as a whistle, and I wonder what liability accrues to the police if the collection is damaged or destroyed. If it was a red flag situation, I'm sure the law would protect the whiner.   I assume a judge has to sign off on these red flag issues, too, and of course he or she is protected.

And yeah, the Kavanaugh Assault even if he is clean on the firearms licensing.
