I've not had to replace the brushes on anything in over 30 years, and the last time I did they were commonly available for Craftsman drills.
I'd like to keep this drill going, not because it's sentimental, but because it's a high-torque, low speed (500 rpm) drill that's really good for drilling holes in tough material.
