Lets see some pics. This is Dozer, a 2 1/2 year old Labrador/Golden Retriever mutt.

A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.

I don't have a dog, so I'll have to live vivaciously through the pictures of your own dog you post!  grin

I like these types of threads. It's also interesting to see who has what kind of dog. Seeing other poster's pet adds another dimension to their character communicated through their posts.

Dozer is a handsome boy.

It was a chance shot on a crappy camera.

I do not like, when with me play, and I think that you also

My Avatar is Ruger.

I lost her back in January.

She was some sort of Collie mix, and the most incredible dog I've ever met.

Bernie is a male 1/2 St. Bernard, 1/2 Catahoula Leopard Dog mix.  At 8 weeks:

Bernie at 2 years:

Bernie at 4 years, chasing after me in the snow:

Quinn is a female Chow/Spitz mix, basically a Maverick missile with a faulty guidance system and short fuse.

Here she is on the day I brought her and Bernie home from the Humane Society:

Quinn at 1 year:

Quinn at 2 years, rippling w/muscles:

Quinn at 4 years, pointing at a rabbit she found:

My Hound toby as a big pup, and his adopted brother Luger, the german sheperd.  Ol' luger has him by at least 3:1 on weight, but you can't tell Toby that.

Here is our fine bitch, Ginger.  Part Chow, part Pointer, she is very timid, until...

Until Ginger has squirrels to chase!  She likes to go Outside and look Outside.

Dozer likes to chase squirrels too. My parents have a couple pine trees, there is almost always a squirrel in one of them and he has to patrol those trees every time we go there.

That's a beautiful springer.

Here's our little Brittany.  She's a little bigger than this now, she was 10ish pounds when we got her now she's twenty.  Born early november.

I'll get a new pic of her and post it.  She's filling out and getting taller.  I think she'll be about 45 pounds.  Just right.

As promised...
Honey is bigger now.  10 months old, 35lbs of puppy.  She is slightly on the insane side still, and will tear ass 'round the house like her stubby little tail is on fire.  She's still seriously submissive, and knows when she is in trouble....if I'm not careful she'll piss on the floor in said circumstance.

Beagles are a hoot.  You get all the hound-dogginess in a package that can do well in an apartment.

I, too, grew up with one.

I was wondering if we've done this yet....

This is Butch...he's my wife's Poodle/Yorkie mix guard dog.....I call him "Daddy's Little Target Indicator".  Even after eight years of living together and six years of marriage, he still tries to bite me if I stand over my wife while she's in bed......

This is Bonnie...she's a toy poodle that I rescued from the side of the road a few years ago. She may not have any teeth, but she can eat you out of house and home...

...and, yes, we occasionally dress them up....esp. since Bonnie gets cold easily.....
Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.
