My new DL just says "NOT FOR REAL ID PURPOSES." So I guess I got me a fake ID. Cool. Now I can buy beer.
But only fake beer, not Real Beer.
Birth Cert, SSN card, Bank Statements, Driver's License, DD214, are all on hand though.
Wonder how I will get mine? No utility bills (Apartment complex handles all that), never needed a passport.Birth Cert, SSN card, Bank Statements, Driver's License, DD214, are all on hand though.
Apartment handles the cable bill and Internet? (those count as utility bills here, even tho' they are not really public utilities)

"No utility bills"You have a cell phone? That's a utility bill.
Generally, it's not for this purpose.
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Real+ID+required+documents&ia=newsI had to take:Birth certificate (or passport)Driver's licenseSocial security card (or 1099 showing FULL SSAN)Bank statement no older than 90 daysUtility bill not older than 90 days
ALL my bills are paperless but I DO have a Cell and Cable bill so there's that. Thanks!
OK, doesn't seem as if it will be that big a hassle to get a new passport. $110. Don't see myself needing one any time soon, but still not a bad thing to have.
