I didn't know that much about him, but between this and another article I read, where it mentioned he had been married for 56 years, he sounds like one of the most down to Earth rockers ever. A family man who saw it as a job, and it appears he avoided a lot of the "sex and drugs" part of rock and roll. I had always figured all the Rolling Stones were heavily into that. Nice to see that he seemed to have a good head on his shoulders through it all. RIP.

They are dropping hard. They are hitting that age and most had rough life's.
Sometimes we carry more weight then we owe.

I agree with you.  Seems rather ironic that the 1st one to die (other than Brian Jones) was the only straight arrow in the group.
