Sensenbrenner wasn't all that bad on 2nd Amendment issues. Well, compared to some representatives, he really isn't. However, I've found his replies to letters I sent him very telling. I don't see him in quite the same favorable light I used to. He supports the politically correct 2nd Amendment, i.e., the 2nd Amendment that believes in background checks (basically akin to asking permission to exercise one's 2nd Amendment rights), as well as one that allows for de facto bans on machine guns.
