A 1922 Prediction About 2022
« on: February 04, 2022, 11:04:34 AM »
Interesting predictions by English novelist W.L. George regarding 2022 technology. Too bad that we haven't given as much attention to his predictions on nuclear power as we have on wind and solar.

I'm trying to put myself in his place with what was known as possible in 1922, and I'm not sure I would have been able to consider what we are now actually implementing. Then I think about what I don't know will be possible in 2122.  =)

^^^In 2122, we will all be dead but uploaded to the cloud, and we will still be arguing about whatever vaccine is being given out then.

Not sure how I feel about the side affects of the cloud anti virus software and the gaps in the firewall vs free travel.

Not bad. So he foresaw sheetrock, particle board, and Ikea (not to mention all the compressed sawdust "furniture" that Walmart sells).
