I tend to regard trick bullets with a bit of skepticism - I'm not entirely convinced that the assertions about hydraulic shock, hydrostatic shock, fluid transfer or whatever are actually a factor at pistol velocity. I personally think that whatever premium JHP ammo from a reliable manufacturer that works well in YOUR gun will work as well as anything for a given caliber.
If there are any experienced coroners, trauma surgeons, or forensic pathologists here with experience treating or examining gunshot wounds, I have a simple question: If you don't have a bullet or bullet fragments to examine, can you actually tell what brand of ammo was used from examining the wound?
Serious question - I don't know the answer.
