Counting the 5 American made films there have now been 38 Godzilla films + 4 reedited localized versions (ie the Americanize Raymond Burr version of the 1954 original)

Considering the main character in this movie is a ex-Kamikaze pilot I found this story interesting coming from an ex-kamikaze pilot who was on the runway with his engine running when they were blocked from taking off and told the war was over. Another few seconds and he would have rolling down the runway more than likely on his way to die. Most of this video is him recounting what happened afterwards.
