I am on day three of trying to rebuild my Dell desktop after the latest Windows 11 update. After doing a system restore, running various repair tools, backing up from an external hard drive and endless research, things seem to be improving. Rather than freezing up every hour or so, requiring a hard power off to reset, it is now down to a freeze once a day or so. The majority of opinion on the Net seems to be an incompatibility with the latest update with Nvidia cards/drivers, and the Intel Killer ethernet driver suite. I have finally been able to uninstall Killer and the associated services, and apparently you have to activate an experimental feature on the video drivers to reduce the problem. Looking for driver conflicts, the event viewer and the reliability monitor has been less than helpful. I hope things improve.
