4 US soldiers found dead in Lithuania

4 US soldiers on a training exercise found dead after they and their vehicle were reported missing.
Details sketchy at the moment. Could be an accident or could be foul play.

The soldiers had been reported missing at around 4:45pm Tuesday following a training exercise near Pabrade, Lithuania, sparking a widespread search conducted by the US Army and Lithuanian authorities.

The soldiers were reportedly carrying out a tactical training routine at the General Silvestras Žukauskas training ground in Pabradė, which is less than six miles from the border with Belarus.

The effort and widespread concern that Lithuanians have shown is heartening.

It looks like a rollover into a deep swamp and despite it almost certainly being a body recovery mission they are working hard and throwing tons of resources at it.

The final body was found.  I remain impressed by the Lithuanian response to this.  I don't think they would have responded any differently if it were their own men missing.
