I have a tray full of possibly twenty various supps and vits on my kitchen counter and I kind of randomize what I take from day to day including nothing. Somehow, I figure the Terry mechanism has to stay somewhat flexible as far as what types of fuel additives are useful in any particular time period.
Right or wrong, wrong or right, that seems to work.
My biggest problem is exercise, not chemistry. Arthritis, mostly, but residual results from some long ago injuries keep me somewhat static. My biggest exercise bloc is when I go shopping and have to do things thereto including carrying stufff up the stairs to my apartment. And my days of pushing a shopping cart around the stores are gone; it's all electric carts for me. I commented recently about smaller specialty stores not having electric carts and needing to get store staff to find stuff for me. I hate doing that, but...
I have no doubt that certain supps are possibly important to any particular life styles, but that business of religiously taking handsful of vits every day is mostly not necessary, and I would wager, without firm evidence, that a lot of that activity is either or both mechanically and chemically addictive.
